I spent the most of today in the greenhouse sowing seeds for early spring planting. As always, I went a bit overboard and planted almost twice as many types of seeds as I planned to. Oh well…variety is the spice of life!
For those of you that haven’t signed up for the class yet, there are still a few openings in the 9 a.m. morning classes on March 2 and 3, but the afternoon ones are full. I have had some people ask for an evening class and I’ll offer a class on Monday, March 4th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Just e-mail me at jworley1@hotmail.com to let me know if you want a spot reserved for you.
For those that have signed up or those on the fence about signing up, here is my list of plants I should have available. You may select 12 containers of these as part of your enrollment in the class. These plants will all be densely planted with 15-20 plants per container. Just have your list ready when you come to my house and we’ll pick them out at the end of the class. Besides the 12 containers of plants, you’ll of course get the Agribond, hoop loops, and all the help I can give plus a packet of extra radish seeds, and a container of onion plants from Dixondale Farms. I may have extra plants after the classes are over for others to purchase, but class members get first pick at the varieties.
